 Review the national and local indicators you currently collect Consider the value of those indicators to service delivery outcomes, with service managers, management team and members.
Work with service managers to develop clear BVPI style definitions for all local indicators and detailed instructions of how each indicator is calculated/collected.
Devise an effective method of reviewing those indicators on a timetabled basis with the service manager.
Collate and report on the progress of those indicators for reporting and monitoring and comparative purposes.
Pull out, by exception, those areas where performance indicates that active management or change is required to address the final outcome
Highlight these areas, clearly and succinctly to members and managers to allow them to focus on what action or decisions are required to be taken if they wish services to meet those targets.
We can offer two levels of assistance with this, a standalone programme for developing, reviewing your PI’s to achieve the above with collation tools, worked examples, reporting tools and powerpoint templates for your use within your organisation for a fixed fee, or we can provide staff on site to facilitate the process for you at an additional cost, so be negotiated.
